We received over 80 individual comments to the public consultation, all of which has been helpful and constructive. The comments and the team's response to each are available through the download link below.

KEY ISSUES
Over the past year, we have been working closely with stakeholders across the industry and market to ensure the scheme continues to reflect good practice in sustainable interior fit-outs.

The main objectives for this scheme have been to:

Align projects with Net Zero and harmonise efforts and limits with the UK Net Zero Building Standard.

Drive towards 100% Circularity and systemic change to enable the industry to better adopt relevant practices and systems.

Aligning all practices with current good practice levels and provide teams with the option to align to Net Zero.

Remove the Wellbeing category in preparation for the development of the new Social & Wellbeing for Offices assessment scheme. Development commencing Q3 2025.
CATCH-UP WITH OUR CONSULTATION EVENTS
As part of the SKArating for Offices scheme update and it's public consultation, we hosted a series of events to explore the proposed changes in more detail. There will be further events to disseminate and broadcast the new scheme and we recommend registering to our newsletter or social channels to hear about them and have a chance to register and attend.
SKArating ROADMAP TO 2030
Following the now published roadmap for the next few years, we aim to undertake more frequent updates to drive the market, reflect the speed of developments in industry, and client appetite for performance.
