Annual scheme accreditations exists for SKA rating assessors to support and maintain their level of knowledge about SKA rating in practice, to keep abreast of changes to the system and general best practices shared through a supported community. Obtaining and maintaining assessor accreditation adds value to professionals by reinforcing professional standards and raising client confidence in the quality and consistency of services offered. This is achieved through a combination of making the register of accredited assessors available, access to technical support, updated training and on-going up-skilling, and a system of quality assurance monitoring.

    You are licensed to audit and certify SKA rated projects. You are able to process the full certification process on the online tool and issue project assessment certificates after your audits.

    You are given credentials and supported through the accreditation scheme to maintain and increase your professional skills on sustainability which allows you to stand out in teams and the wider market.

SKA RATING ACCREDITATION TYPES & SCHEMES

You are either new to the scheme and need to follow the New Registration route, or an existing assessor that is renewing their accreditation. You also have a choice as to the scheme(s) that you wish to be accredited in. Please select accordingly from the routes below...

Steps of the Assessor Journey...

If you intend to become a SKArating Assessor, these steps are milestones in your journey. You may choose to be accredited in one or three schemes, the choice is yours.

  • STEP 1 - Undertake the SKA Foundation course and and pass the exam at the end.

  • STEP 2 - Undertake the SKA Assessor course of your choice and pass the case study assignment and exam at the end.

  • STEP 3 - Select the Accreditation(s) you wish to obtain and complete all the requirements included. Repeat annually to maintain your accreditation.

  • Repeat above STEPS 2 & 3 for each scheme you wish to be accredited in.
