This online training module has been designed to provide an overview of the SKA rating scheme whether one is a client and wishes to know how SKA rating can drive and support sustainability efforts, project team members who wish to understand how to work with this scheme, or professionals looking to then take the next step and become accredited SKA rating assessors.
This online learning course is essential learning for all Contractors, Architects, Interior Designers, M&E Engineers, Project Managers, Portfolio Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Environmental Assessors who wish to fully engage with sustainability drives and feel confident working with environmental assessment methodologies.
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
- Understand the appropriate projects to use SKA rating on.
- Understand the SKA rating philosophy.
- Understand the SKA rating methodology.
- Understand the sustainability issues that relate to non-domestic fit outs.
- Understand how to apply the SKA rating process to a fit-out project and to a property portfolio.
- Understand how to assess issues with evidence examples, as compliant or not.
At the end of the training session there is an opportunity to sit an exam. This is a requirement to pass should delegates wish to proceed on becoming accredited assessors of SKA rating. The online exam is multiple choice and time restricted. Candidates will be afforded unlimited attempts within a two month period to pass the online exam as part of the course.
