About the course

This online training course has been designed to work around the busy lives of professionals so they are able to manage learning at their own tempo and schedule. The course content provides a detailed look at all the good practice measures and enable participants to become qualified as a SKA Rating Assessor for the Higher Education scheme. Delegates will be required to complete and pass the online course examination to become eligible for the SKA Rating Assessor Accreditation.

 This online learning course is essential learning for all Contractors, Architects, Interior Designers, M&E Engineers, Project Managers, Portfolio Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Environmental Assessors who are qualified under other assessment schemes such as BREEAM or LEED.

 To complete this online learning module delegates must have completed the SKA Foundation course (Online or Face to Face) or have previous SKA assessor experience and have completed the SKA Foundation course exam.

The online exam is multiple choice and not time restricted. Candidates are afforded two months to pass the online exam as part of the course.

Elina Grigoriou FRSA HonRICS

Elina is an industry expert on sustainability, wellbeing and design for interior spaces. Her interior design career began at PDP Interior Design, which included a six-year project for the Virgin Atlantic Airways Training Base facility. Later, at careyjones interiors, Elina immersed herself in sustainability issues and joined the Ska Rating Technical Committee in 2006. She is now the RICS Ska Rating Technical Advisor and chairs the Ska Rating Technical Committee, which guides the tool’s development. A frequent contributor to articles on design, wellbeing and sustainability, Elina is regularly invited by industry bodies to participate in steering meetings, speak at public events, participate in sector debates, contribute in research work, and judge awards and project competitions. Elina was voted by Building magazine as one of the ‘Top 50 Rising Sustainability Stars’. Her book 'Wellbeing in Interiors, philosophy, design and value in practice' was published by RIBA in 2019.
